The Planning Commission has currently started taking applications for the Young Development Fellows (YDF) plan as part of its ‘One Nation One Vision Pakistan 2025’ program.
The Government of Pakistan is giving an opportunity for the youth of Pakistan to apply online applications for the fourth batch of the YDF program. Students of the nation are encouraged to gain the benefit of this opportunity today.
Young Development Fellows Program-Need of hour
The Planning Commission’s YDF Program is catching the attention of young talent for the national development of Pakistan.
Interested individuals can apply online based on their qualifications and field of study. Applications will be received for following disciplines:
- Education, Policy, and Research
- Private Sector-led Growth and Public-Private Partnership
- Peace and Development
- Development Economics / Competitiveness
- Energy and Power Sector Development
- Food Security and Water Management
- Poverty Alleviation
- Science, Technology, and Innovation
- Financial Analysis / Management
- Information Technology / Software Development
- Environment / Climate Change
- Health and Nutrition
- Infrastructure Development / Urban Management
- China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC)
- Media and Development Communication / Social Media
- Gender and Development.
Eligibility Criteria
According to the YDF application form, all those individuals who meet the following criteria will be considered for the program:
- Age should be between 18-30 years.
- Hold Ph.D./Master/professional degree from a reputable university in one of the fields mentioned in the advertisement.
- Relevant professional experience associated with the development or continued academic study at the doctoral level will be Preferred.
- Must not have joined any previous YDF batch
