Online buzz has been generated by photos of Pakistan’s first Mercedes Benz EQE. Audi e-Tron GT, Porsche Tycan, and other high-end electric vehicles (EVs) compete with the EQE, which is a full-size all-electric luxury sedan.

This model was imported to Pakistan as the EQE 300+. Only the rear wheels are driven by electric motors. 550 Newton-meters of torque and 245 horsepower. Fast acceleration from 0 to 100 kph takes 7.3 seconds.

An 89 kWh lithium-ion battery pack gives the EQE 300 a range of 550 kilometers under WLTP. Fast-charging capability allows it to recharge to 80% in just 33 minutes.

Luxury sedans look much different from the EQE. With a smooth and round shape, it features subtle creases, large front panels, modern headlights, LED taillights, large alloy wheels, and a sloping roofline.

Mercedes’ EQE luxury electric vehicle features semi-autonomous driving, adjustable air suspension, multiple drive modes, a premium interior, advanced infotainment, a hyper screen patented by Mercedes, and numerous comfort features as a luxury EV.

Almost £74,000 (approx. Rs. 20 million) goes towards all these features. Taxes included, EQE costs much more. EQE 300 details in Pakistan are unknown as it awaits clearance to leave the port.
