As far as news surrounding the Huawei Mate 40 Pro goes – things have been quite. Indeed not much has been said with respect to when the device will be launched, but there has of course been the suggestion for quite some time now that the Chinese manufacturer may launch the device sometime this month. And in line with such a suggestion, a leaker has claimed that the exact date for the launch of the Mate 40 series will be the 22nd of this month. Nonetheless, when Huawei manages and takes upon itself to launch its next flagship series of devices, one thing is for certain : the series is almost certain to not feature with Google Apps on board – a direct consequence of course of the restrictions that have been imposed on the company by the Trump administration. Also, the Mate 40 series is also highly likely to be the last set of devices to make its way with a Kirin chipset integrated within – as the US ban also means that Huawei is also effectively banned from producing its own processors. Indeed this time next year, the smartphones that Huawei will launch will likely be very different to the Mate 40 Pro that the Chinese manufacturer will soon launch – with the major change of course being brought along the lines of no Kirin processor within those future devices. Of course such future devices are also not likely to make way with Google Apps – something which won’t represent a change to what the Mate 40 series would have on show. For now though, important to note is the fact that the rumors surrounding the 22nd October launch or indeed any launch at all taking place this month are not at all confirmed. So for now, let’s take such news with a pinch of salt and wait for official confirmation.
