LG has been teasing upon its latest and upcoming flagship phone revealed, the LG G8 ThinQ for the past few days, and with that said, the company is going to launch the phone at the Mobile World Congress 2019. While there has been a constant stream of rumors going on about the device – of different nature of course, latest reports from Brazil have gone on to unveil the phone’s battery capacity.

The phone is set to have a 6.1-inch notched display, according to the reports, and will have a tall enough ratio of 19.5:9. Moreover, there will also be dual selfie cameras which will be tucked right into the cutout. As the phone progresses to what we expect from a smartphone flagship coming in 2019 – it’s quite good to see LG going against the stereotypes and actually retaining the all-so loved headphone jack.

So what about the battery then? Well, reports suggest that the LG G8 ThinQ will have a nominal capacity of 3400mAh, and will have a power cell of 3500mAh. Such a battery would represent a 15% increase to the one found on the LG predecessor of the upcoming flagship.

LG seems to be quite optimistic for 2019, and it seems the company is gearing up to launch a handful of new and innovative devices at the MWC this year.

And back on to the subject of smartphones, LG isn’t coming slow in bringing the market exactly what it wants. The company is indeed going to launch a separate LG 5G smartphone during this year’s MWC which is going to be held in Barcelona. Hence, along with the LG G8 ThinQ will we see the LG V50 ThinQ, that will indeed be coming with the feature of 5G.
