As of today, Huawei Pocket S will be going official in China for the very first time. According to rumor, the Pocket S is going to be a “Lite” version of the Huawei P50 Pocket, which was announced in December of last year, and is powered by the Snapdragon 888 4G processor.

Among the flip phones available on the Chinese market, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Motorola Razr 22 are both powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipsets, respectively. In order to make the most of the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip, OPPO is expected to launch the Find N Flip smartphone in December of this year. It is interesting to note that Huawei has decided to launch a non-flagship phone instead of a clamshell product with flagship specs, in contrast to other brands that have launched clamshell phones with flagship specs.
