Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar on Saturday asked the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) to postpone their Dec 13 Lahore jalsa considering dread danger cautions and the Covid circumstance and called upon the resistance to determine issues through discourse.
Addressing the media in Lahore, the Punjab boss pastor encouraged the resistance collusion to examine their issues through discourse and not by “trading off or playing with individuals’ lives”.
Buzdar said the current Covid circumstance in Lahore was grave and the energy rate was more than 46 percent. “It isn’t fitting to play with individuals’ lives this way and consent [for the rally] won’t be given”.
Tending to the resistance, he said no place in the world are fights and get-togethers being held.
“For what reason would you say you are doing them, are they happening elsewhere that you can legitimize yourself? What is the requirement for this, is there some sort of crisis?”
He expressed that the public authority will manage the PDM as per the law and its arrangements.
In the interim, Punjab Law Minister Basharat Raja said the PDM was not permitted to hold the public gathering in the light of the orders gave by the National Command and Control Center.
“Move will be made against the individuals who go rogue. The PDM ought to try not to meet taking into account crown and security concerns,” he said.
