Rumors have suggested that HMD Global is gearing up for the debut of two Nokia phones at the upcoming Mobile World Congress through the company’s unveil event set for the 24th of February. The Nokia 6.2 happens to be amongst the devices which many are anticipating from HMD Global, and this device is expected to feature with a punch-hole display. However, now, fresh reports are suggesting that the Nokia 6.2 might not actually make its debut at the MWC 2019.
Fresh info coming from the Twitter account Nokia_anew has stated that there seems to be a high probability now that the Nokia 6.2 won’t be featuring at the MWC 2019. The reasoning given behind such a move is so Nokia can concentrate on the launch of the Nokia 9 Pureview flagship.
Yesterday, a quite reliable tipster had actually claimed that the company will launch four phones at the upcoming event : the Nokia 9 Pureview, Nokia 4.2, Nokia 3.2, and finally, the Nokia 1 Plus. The leak which stated this also went ahead and said that HMD Global could actually go on and plan the launch of the Nokia 9 Pureview phone alongside that or some of the more weaker phones in comparison.
So all in all, if the new information is actually true, the Finnish brand may launch the Nokia 6.2 in the coming month. However, for now, it would be best if we could all just wait for further reports with regards to the smartphone, so that we have more of an idea as to exactly when the phone is set to come.
Debut for the Nokia 6.2 might not take Place at the MWC 2019
Rumors have been suggesting for quite some time now that the Nokia 6.2 would actually be the first ever punch-hole device. It has also been suggested that the phone will feature with a 6.2-inch display which will have the capabilities to offer full HD+ resolution. The phone might be powered by the Snapdragon 632, along with 4 or 6 gigs of RAM to satisfy the RAM needs. It has been stated that the phone will feature with 16MP dual rear cameras, with ZEISS optics plus OZO audio. And also, while it may be possible that we’re close to the launch of the phone, it should be noted that the phone would actually first make its debut in China, and then will follow the European countries.
