It was a success: Huawei opened HarmonyOS test recruitment yesterday. Early adopters can now sign up for the beta version of HarmonyOS 3 Hongmeng for Huawei Enjoy 50 Pro. The deadline is 18:00 on December 16.
Members can sign-up through the “My Huawei/Member Center” app-home page-upgrade early adopters and must meet threshold 126.96.36.199. We think it is worth mentioning that upon recruiting the first batch of 2,000 users this time around, the new version will be pushed out to them in mid-December.
The version will still be gradually reviewed in batches by Huawei according to the progress the version is making, and for users other than those in the first batch, the version will be automatically pushed to those users whose registration interface shows “review passed”. It is possible that you will not receive an upgrade push for your baseline version if that version does not support upgrades when you sign up.
It was announced on July 29 this year that Huawei would release a high-end phone called the Huawei 50 Pro, which is priced at 1699 CNY.
It is available in four different colors: Magic Night Black, Xinghai Blue, Emerald Green, and Snowy White that complement each other very well. The phone is expected to be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 mobile processing platform (6nm process, CPU 2.4GHz4+1.9GHz4, Adreno 610 GPU), and will be available in two different versions with 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB internal storage.
Especially for the small hand, Huawei Enjoy 50 Pro comes with a 6.7-inch 2388×1080 LCD centered punch-hole screen, a 90Hz refresh rate, a 270Hz touch sampling rate, and a 1.05mm ultra-narrow bezel. Further, the device has a 5000mAh battery. It can charge 50% within 30 minutes of being plugged in, and it supports 40W fast charging.
As for the Huawei Enjoy 50 Pro’s imaging capabilities, it features a 50MP main camera supplemented by a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth-of-field lens, as well as an 8MP front-facing camera that supports both front and rear dual-view double recording. It also includes Bluetooth 5.0, USB 2.0 connectivity, a 3.5mm headphone jack, as well as NFC capabilities. This is in addition to the ability to recognize fingerprints on the side of the device.
