In collaboration with the Nobel Peace Center, Telenor Youth Forum kicks off its fifth annual event on December 8, 2017, in Oslo.

Out of nearly 8,000 applicants, 24 young and talented delegates, aged 20-28, were selected to represent their countries at the Telenor Youth Forum (TYF). The program takes place December 8-11, in Oslo, where the delegates will work in teams to solve social challenges as well as participate in Nobel Peace Prize-related festivities.

The delegates hail from 12 Telenor markets, with each Telenor business unit sending two individuals to represent. They will participate in the entire program, which runs through May 2018, working to solve their social challenges and design digital exhibitions in collaboration with the Nobel Peace Center. On the final day of TYF in Oslo, Monday, December 11 at 15:30, the delegates will present creative solutions to the challenges given. The will be evaluated by a jury of experts, who will provide live feedback during the event. This jury includes:

  • Espen Barth Eide, Member of the Norwegian Parliament
  • BabouOlengha-Aaby, Founder/CEO The Next Billion
  • Susanne Kaluza, Advisor at Trigger and Founder of Kaluza Media AS
  • Ingjerd Blekeli Spiten, Telenor’s Global Head of Products
  • CecilieHeuch, Telenor’s Chief Human Resources Officer

Meet the delegates

Each TYF delegate was carefully selected following a rigorous recruitment process. Out of 8000 applicants from across Telenor Business Units, 5,300 applicants were from Pakistan.
