Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum took to Twitter to announce the launch of the Government Services Observatory earlier this year. This initiative aims to evaluate the quality of government services provided in the UAE. The observatory serves as a platform where the public can provide their feedback on over 1,400 services, generating approximately one million responses per month.

The Public’s Evaluation: Best and Worst Government Services

According to the public’s evaluation, the service of passport issuance and driving licenses topped the list of best-performing government services. These services were highly praised for their efficiency, with the entire process taking less than thirty minutes. Additionally, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) and Foreign Affairs were recognized for their excellent services.

On the other end of the spectrum, the services of attestation and equivalence of educational certificates, as well as booking medical appointments, were rated as the worst-performing services. The feedback received shed light on areas where improvements are required.
