Multiple reports have gone on to claim that Korean manufacturer Samsung is gearing up for the launch of the Galaxy S21 series in January. It was revealed back in July that the lineup includes the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and also the Galaxy S21 Ultra. The report went on to reveal that the model numbers for these three devices are : SM-G991, SM-G996 and SM-G998. Now in the more recent turn of events, the Galaxy S21 ultra bagged certification by the NFC forum. The certification serves yet another hint that the Galaxy S21 series will indeed be making its debut next year in January.

Expect for the SM-G998U model number, the NFC certification listing serves no other information with regards to the specs of the Galaxy S21 Ultra. A battery of the device was approved not so long ago by the TUV Rheinland certification platform and it revealed that the Galaxy S21 Ultra will make its way with a 5000mAh battery.

Recent reports have also gone on to indicate and reveal plenty of vital information with regards to the specs of the Galaxy S21 Ultra. It is expected that the device will feature with a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen, making its way with a punch-hole design as well as curved edges. The display will offer Quad HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of either 120Hz or 144Hz.

Based on the region, the Galaxy S21 Ultra will make its way with either the Snapdragon 875 or the Exynos 2100 chipset. The Android 10 ID with One UI 3.0 will come preloaded on the device. It is expected that the smartphone will feature with a 108MP quad camera setup. Also, some leaks have gone on to suggest that it will make its way with five rear-facing cameras. It may make its way with either 60W or 66W fast charging support.
