The Galaxy S22 series won’t be subject to a launch until the first quarter of next year however the leaks have already started to pour in with a rather steady pace. Indeed the nest generation S series flagships coming in from the Korean manufacturer will make way with some changes on board of course – some of which will be good and others which would lead most people disappointed – all in accordance with what the latest info suggests.
Lots of people were pleased when the Galaxy S20 launched with a 4000mAh battery capacity which of course represented a rather massive upgrade over the 3400mAh battery which was found inside its predecessor the Galaxy S10. The S20 also brought along with itself support for faster charging at 25W. Now though, a new leak has surfaced which suggests that Samsung is actually looking to dial back the battery capacity for the Galaxy S22.
Indeed in accordance with a report coming in, it is suggested that the Galaxy S22 will feature with a battery capacity of 3590mAh – which of course represents a figure lower in comparison to the Galaxy S21.
While a smaller battery does sound like bad news, an earlier report was also indicative of the fact that the base model is likely to feature with a smaller 6.06-inch display which could make way with an FHD+ resolution. The Galaxy S20 and the Galaxy S21 have a 6.1 QHD+ and 6.2-inch FHD+ displays.
The Galaxy S22 Plus will also make way with a smaller 4500mAh battery as against last year’s device which came with a 4800mAh one. As has been already revealed, the display of the S22 Plhd will be smaller, coming in at 6.55 inches. This of course is smaller when you compare it with the 6.7-inch display of last year’s device.
