A recent report proceeded on to reveal that Samsung may end up announcing the Galaxy Z Flip 2 and the Galaxy Z Fold 3 in July of this year. In accordance now with a reliable tipster, it is said that the Fold 3 will come equipped with an Under Panel Camera (UPC), which is also of course known as the under-display camera technology

It is also of course not the first time that the rumor mill has claimed that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will make way with UPC. A South Korean publication had indeed reported back in October of last year that the device will feature with an under-display camera. The same report proceeded on to conclude that the Fold 3 will feature with a thicker UTG so as to bring about support for the S pen stylus.

The first generation Galaxy Fold’s inner display featured with a wide notch which was responsible for housing dual cameras. The Galaxy Z Fold 2’s inner screen offered a rather larger screen-to-body ratio due to the fact that it made way with a punch-hole design. With UPC onboard, the Galaxy Fold 3 is expected to feature with an even higher screen-to-body ratio when compared with its predecessor models.

S-connect, which happens to be a company which is responsible for manufacturing of hinges for Samsung’s foldable smartphone has gone on to confirm that it will actually begin the mass production of hinges as far as the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 2 are concerned – this being the time line given for Q1 2021. This information does in fact seem to be in line with recent reports which had suggested that Samsung’s next-generation foldable phones will make their way in July.
