Google Pixel 2 and 2 XL, though expensive, are a pair of the excellent phones out there with some of the best software and cameras, though might not be without their drawbacks.

The most significant and real disadvantage to each of these phones has been the price tag. At $649-949, they were enough expensive. But, for a short period of time, Google has discounted the price of both the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. Decrease of $50 in the case of the Pixel 2, and $75 in the case of the 2 XL looks something better but not much better. You can nab both the phones over at the Google Store.

It is not false to say that $50-75 isn’t a huge discount. Best case scenario -in the case of the 64GB 2 XL-, the price tag represents just a bit under 9 percent off. But it is the first real discount we have seen for the phones being sold directly from the Google Store.

The Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL  –for those considering the deal- both are the best performers that come with Snapdragon 835 chipsets with Octa-core (4×2.45 GHz Kryo and 4×1.9 GHz Kryo) CPU & Adreno 540 GPU. The internal storage of both is 64/128 GB while there is no Micro SD card slot. These phones support 4 gigs of RAM and do not lag even on heaviest multitasking. Flagships come with 2700mAh battery supporting flash charging. These are the pioneer devices to support Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.

If for some reason you missed, you can now check out our review for both of Google’s latest flagships. To be candid, i would say, the both phones include most of what you expect from a 2017-era device, and one of the best smartphone cameras you can get. As you would have expect from a Pixel, it also has some of the best software of any phone, and these phones get monthly updates directly from the source.

Google, the giant, also seems to have coordinated its supply of phones a bit better the current year. It seems to us as every configurable SKU is in stock. So if you have been waiting for a discount to pull the trigger, and carrier promotions are not your style, this might be the way to go and get the device of your dreams.
