US mega company, Google is gearing up for the launch of their newest addition in the Pixel series, the Pixel 5. The phone has been scheduled for a launch later in the year and as of the moment has been appearing only in leaks which gives us somewhat of an idea as to what to expect from the new mobile device. Earlier reports talked about the phone’s features, what it brings to the table but a recent leak has now given us an idea of how the phone is going to look I’m terms of design, much to the courtesy of leaker Jose Antonio.

One photo in the leak shows us the back of the device which by the looks of things is covered in stickers while the another picture shows us an “About Phone” section for the handset. The picture dubs the phone as the “Pixel 5s”, which hints towards a sudden change in the naming scheme. The famous tipster has also called the phone the Pixel 5S in a tweet he made on Twitter. This basically hints at an additional option in the Pixel 5 series which at the moment is confirmed to comprise of the Pixel 5, 5a, and 5 XL. Other people also have a theory that this could be in fact the 5a device which has been rebranded as the 5s, but it is just a theory.

Talking about the design, the new phone looks quite a lot like the Pixel 4a with a cornered punch-hole cutout, a square-shaped primary camera, and a fingerprint sensor right underneath it. The device also seems to have a plastic build and a unibody chassis we don’t see any antenna lines on the device. Initial leaks of the device suggested that the Pixel 5 is going to be a mid-ranger powered by the Snapdragon 765G SoC, a 90Hz display, up to 8GB RAM, and “significantly more battery than the Pixel 4” (2800 mAh). The Google Pixel 5 lineup is expected to be launched somewhere in between the month of October this year and Google users can not wait to find out more on the new creations of the company.
