Inside sources have gone on to make some claims with regards to the eventual fate of the Galaxy Note series. The note series indeed had, only until recently, been Samsung’s flagship offering as well as the only Samsung devices that came with the aid of an S pen. As we know though, the Galaxy S21 Ultra too now makes its way with a stylus as Samsung may also extend this feature to other models as well.

Tipsters have indeed been predicting that the S Pen technology was subject to being extended other models, as there apparently exists plans to replace the Galaxy Note series with the foldable phones of the Z series. And hence, it would seems quite obvious then that the Galaxy Note series may indeed be winding down, however, it also remains unclear as to whether it will make its way back as the Note 21 before the year runs out.

The more recent insider information coming in with respect to Samsung actually goes on to suggest that indeed a decision has been taken in respect of retiring the Galaxy Note series. The decision might be to the chagrin to both the fans as well as the enthusiasts of the product.

In a tweet, a well known tipster in Ice Universe proceeded on to claim that the former flagship Noteseries may have seen its last days and that moving forward, there will be no Galaxy Note 21.

Another industry insider has also all but confirmed the veracity of the rumor, and there has also been the suggestion that even with this decision in place, Samsung may actually end up launching the Galaxy Note 20 FE – due to the fact that it has already undergone confirmation by the phone maker.

The sale projections for both the Note as well as the S series were subject to a serious fall down as the sales were indeed hugely underwhelming, and so, the decision to discontinue the production of the Note series may indeed be a cost-saving measure so as to revamp the sales traffic as well as the overall outlook of the company for this year.
