Huawei is going to launch its first phone with 8GB Ram which is actually a new variant of the Honor 10. The variant is named Honor 10 GT and will launch in China in the last week of this month. With bigger Ram and high performance, it will cost you almost $390.

Talking about specs, well its specs are similar to that of the original Honor 10, which was launched two months back. However, Honor 10 just launched in 4 and 6 GB RAM variants.

The Honor 10 GT features 5.8-inch LCD with resolution of 2280×1080 pixels. It has notch on the top display which houses the 24-MP front camera.

On the back side, there is a dual-lens camera setup, one lens features 24 MP resolution while the other has a resolution of 16 MP. On interesting note, the Honor 10 GT retains the 3.5mm headphone jack for old lads who loves this!

For charging, it uses a USB-C port to help in accelerating charging output and speed. It also sustains Huawei’s ever-famous Kirin 970, the same chipset present in the P20 Pro.

Another notable addition to the phone is of the GPU Turbo. Not to know, this feature was launched a few weeks back by Huawei to deliver a performance boost of up to 60% balancing with perfection in battery efficiency of up to 30%.

It is important to mention here that the trend of having 8 GB RAM in a smartphone was initiated by Razer when they launched their first phone. Soon after, other phone companies also followed the trend. For instance, OnePlus launched the OnePlus 5T with 8 GB RAM.

Ther is no doubt that 8 GB RAM used to be considered a huge thing however it seems that, it’s turning out a norm day by day. As, Samsung’s upcoming flagship phablet, the Galaxy Note 9 is also rumored to have 8 GB RAM.

It’s good to have increment in RAM as it’s essential to ensure smooth operation and faster processing in smartphones. On the other hand, it’s not like phones with high RAMs are very expensive. I mean, just look at Xiaomi’s Mi Mix 2, you can buy for Rs.61000 in Pakistan.

Moreover, Huawei’s product lineup is getting better with that passage of time. Its range of smartphones includes high-rangers like the P20 and mid-rangers like the Mate 10 lite.
