Huawei — the Chinese tech behemoth and one of the world’s top smartphone players is dominating Asian markets with its innovative product launches. Last month, the company unveiled its new midrange series smartphone Nova 3 and Nova 3i in China and India. As of now, the smartphone giant is launching this Nova series smartphone, first time in Pakistan starting next month, as per NetMag’s sources.

In a joint media session with Huawei’s key officials of Pakistan and MENA region where Huawei’s business model and strategies were mainly discussed, we also learned that Huawei Nova 3 and Nova 3i are expected to make their debut in Pakistan within next two weeks. Huawei’s Nova series is a midrange series of the company limited for users in China and now the company is expanding its reach to various developing markets.

So, what makes these devices worth talking about — the flagship level specs at a nominal price. Alongside featuring beatification modes in their AI-powered cameras, the smartphones are equipped with high-end processors as well. The Huawei Nova 3 features the HiSilicon Kirin 970 system-on-chip (SoC) (a first for the Nova series), while the Huawei Nova 3i is the first Huawei phone to feature the newly developed HiSilicon Kirin 710 chipset.

Huawei Nova 3 series smartphones come with a trendy minimal bezel display with an iPhone X-like notch, various color options, AI features hardware HDR effects, 3D Qmojis, and much more. Both devices feature a 6.3-inch FullView display with a 19:9 aspect ratio, and optimized body for improved grip. All these reflect the Huawei Nova 3 series’ commitment to becoming a youth-centric product with fashionable and fantastic visual experience.

The Huawei Nova 3 also features an infrared (IR) Face Unlock that will work even in low light conditions. Both smartphones support Huawei’s GPU Turbo technology for improved gaming performance.

Huawei Nova 3i competes with the company’s own P20 Lite in terms of pricing but has a significantly better SoC. On the other hand, Nova 3’s specifications are mostly similar to the Honor 10’s specifications, with the exceptions of screen size, front-facing camera, face unlock and battery capacity.

Huawei Nova 3 comes with 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage along with microSD card slot and offers battery capacity of 3,750mAh with fast charging support. Whereas, Nova 3i features a 4GB of RAM with 128GB of storage and a 3,340mAh with 10W charging. Both smartphones feature a really impressive rear camera and a 24MP + 2MP depth-sensing camera.

Nova 3 and 3i are being offered in Black and Iris Purple colors, while there is another Red color option for young Nova fans. The expected price of Nova 3 in Pakistan will be around PKR 54,000/- while Nova 3i, on the other hand, will cost around PKR 32,000/-.
