Next month on the 5th, Huawei will go on to announce the Nova 6 5G – which represents the same day on which HMD Global has scheduled its next Nokia phone launch. And while it seemed to have been the case previously, the Nova 6 might not necessarily be the only Huawei phone to launch on the 5th. The latest reports have suggested that the device may debut along with another phone being given the name of Nova 6 SE. The device’s photo as well as key specs have also been leaked today.

The Nova 6 SE is the second Huawei phone with an SE suffix in its name. The first among the two was the Huawei Mate SE which came through the market last year. However, after a while, the device was rebranded as the Honor 7X. And while the SE suffix isn’t too common, Apple was the first manufacturer to use it within a phone’s name when the manufacturer launched the popular iPhone SE three years ago.

With the latest reports surrounding the device, it seems that the Nova 6 SE isn’t only inspired by an iPhone’s name, as by the looks of it, the design – primarily the rear design of the phone is pretty much the same that of the iPhone 11 Pro – just that the device features with an extra camera.

The leaked images of Huawei’s upcoming device show a rear camera design much similar to what we saw on the iPhone 11 Pro, however, the only difference here is that the Nova 6 SE will come with four rear cameras – instead of the three integrated within the iPhone. Huawei also put the LED flash below the camera housing – not actually together in line with the cameras.

On the front is present a punch-hole display with placement being on the top left corner. Most likely, it happens to be an LCD panel. It is expected that the Nova 6 SE will indeed launch on the same day as the Nova 6 5G, however, it will not actually support 5G like its sibling does.
