The Huawei P50 Pocket S smartphone will be released in China in the near future, according to a teaser released earlier today by Huawei. As part of the launch to be held on November 2 at 7 p.m. in the domestic market, the device is set to break cover at this time.
It has become clearer how many colors and design options there are for the P50 Pocket S ahead of its launch, thanks to tipster Parag Guglani who broke the news.
The design, as far as the smartphone is concerned, does not appear to have changed much since the launch of the P50 Pocket back in December 2021. Besides the three cameras at the back, it has a circular camera island containing a flash unit, as well as three cameras. As well as the main display, there is also another black circular cutout on the back that houses the secondary display, which can display real-time notifications and information from a variety of apps that are supported.
According to the image, there are five options for the color of your helmet – blue, pink, rose, green, and yellow. As previously reported, along with the black and white colors, there will also be a white option.
There was originally a Snapdragon 888 4G chip installed under the hood of the original P50 Pocket, which launched in late 2015. Regardless of this, there are rumors about the P50 Pocket S being equipped with a Snapdragon 778G 4G chip. Besides that, we expect to see an OLED foldable display with a refresh rate of 120Hz on the device, as well as HarmonyOS 3 and the company’s XMAGE technology for image processing. The Huawei Pocket S, which is expected to be released around the middle of this year, has been priced quite reasonably, based on its 256 GB edition costing around 4,999 Yuan ($689). Meanwhile, the 512 GB edition of the smartphone may be priced at an astronomical 6,999 Yuan (roughly $965).
In the days and weeks leading up to the November 2 launch date, we will begin to discover more details about the clamshell smartphone. Stay tuned for more information regarding the clamshell smartphone.
