Chinese manufacturer Huawei is yet to release its homegrown Harmony OS with respect to its smartphones, even though the company has in fact been testing it on several models such as the Huawei P30. Of course there has been a mention of the plans that Huawei has to push its very own OS into its flagship smartphone models. As a matter of fact, the Chinese company is actually looking towards the prospect of releasing the upcoming P50 series with a bang. Indeed there happen to be rumors circulating around that conclude that the company’s P50 will be the very first model to launch which will make way with the HarmonyOS right from the get go.

A Weibo post coming in from Fast technology is claiming that Huawei has actually completed the test process which was required with respect to the HarmonyOS 2.0 Beta 2 and is now shifting towards the prospect of Beta 3 – which will actually be the last step before the stable release. The post also proceeded on to reveal that the HarmonyOS will make way pre-installed on the P50 series and hence making it the very first smartphone to feature with HarmonyOS right out of the box.

Make no mistake as Huawei has already pushed beta versions of the HarmonyOS to some of the older smartphones that it has released, including the likes of the Huawei P40, P30, Mate 30 Pro 5G and also others as well. But, it will in fact be the P40 that completely goes on to ditch the AndroidOS.

The Chinese manufacturer is also set to massively push HarmonyOS update to several of its models beginning from April with the flagship models models being in the front line with respect to the update. The Chinese brand is also looking towards the prospect of having the in-house ROM onboard up to 300-400 million of its devices as this year comes to a close. This will also include the likes of smart TVs, smartwatches, and other IoT gadgets in order to utilize the OS.
