Imran Khan and Shah Mahmood Qureshi Receive Bail in Case Related to May 9 Riots.
Former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, and his second-in-line, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, have been granted bail in the case related to the May 9 riots. The Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Malik Ijaz presided over the case and directed both accused to furnish surety bonds of Rs1 lac each.
This decision marks the approval of Khan’s bail petitions in a total of 12 cases linked to the May 9 rioting incidents.

Additionally, the court also approved the bail petition of Sheikh Rasheed, leader of the Awami Muslim League, in a case pertaining to the attack on the gate of a sensitive installation on May 9. Rasheed was granted bail upon submitting surety bonds amounting to Rs200,000.
Following the submission of the bonds, the court instructed the authorities to release Rasheed.
