Indian junior team washed out Pakistani junior players in U- 19 semifinal, watch here the rest story

Indian under 19 (U-19) team washed out Pakistani junior players in semifinal and won the match by qualifying for the final of World Cup 2018.it seems like Indian juniors have taken the revenge of their seniors defeat by Pakistan.

The team led by Prithvi Shaw smashed out Pakistan in all departments who looked panicked right from the start of the match.

It was sad to watch that the arch-rivals’ clash proved to be a one-sided affair as India upset Pakistan by a massive margin of 203 runs, getting even their senior team’s beat in the Champions Trophy final in 2017.

Now, with this huge triumph over Pakistan, India turned out to be first team to qualify for final of U19 world cup six times. However, Australia and Pakistan have reached five times.

After winning the toss and Indian elected to bat first to set a challenging total on the board.

As usual Indian top order had been in volatile form since the start of the tournament, with everybody contributing greatly at the top. Openers made a partnership of 89 which settled the ground for middle order batsmen.

There was a stage when at 5-166, the Indian batting line seem to be like falling apart, but Shubman smashed much-needed 33 runs with Roy.

The Indian team managed to put a total of 272 in their allotted 50 overs. There were many misfields as 5 run-out chances, as well as a couple of missed catches, permitted India to set aggressive total on the board.

Muhammad Musa grabbed 4 for 67 while Arshad Iqbal scalped 3 for 51.

On the other hand in 2nd Innings Pakistani batsmen surprised all and sundry in an awful manner leaving the team in tatters. Both the openers were back to the pavilion at score of 13.

From Pakistan’s side only three players managed to get into the double figures. Indian pacer Ishan Porel ripped the ‘wall of top order’ of Pakistani batting order, claiming 4 wickets for just 17 runs in only 6 overs.

No batsmen looked at ease as Indian bowlers dabbed off the tail pretty fast to pack out the opposition for a shocking 69.

Man of the match award

Shubman’s class was evident in his brightly paced knock of 102*.

He kept moving strikes with his singles and doubles along with infrequent boundaries at the right time, making it hard for the Pakistani bowlers to bowl at him.

No doubt he will be the future star and won the Player of the Match award in the powerful encounter.
