Infinix is a mobile phone brand which is really giving its competitors a hard time in the mid-range market of smartphones, the company provide one of the best equipped and designed phones at a unbeatable rate, making people switch their brands and move towards buying an Infinix device. Keeping on with the trend, Infinix has just launched there latest “Smart” series phone which they call as the Infinix Smart 5 in the markets of India and Nigeria. The smartphone, like is predecessor, comes with a large display, a massive battery giving you a sensational run time and all at a very reasonable price. 

In terms of design, the phone takes inspiration from the new Samsung Galaxy Note 20 with the design pattern quite similar to that of the Note 20. You will find a fingerprint sensor housed on the back, and the smartphone comes packed with a 6.6-inch LCD waterdrop notch display which supports up to 720 x 1600 pixels resolution and a decent 20:9 aspect ratio.

Moving on to the internals of the device, the Infinix Smart 5 gains power from the MediaTek Helio P22 chipset which comes in either a 2 GB or a 3 GB RAM variant coupled along with a 32 GB or 64 GB storage capacity which can be expanded further using a SD card. The software built in to that device is the Android 10 Go Edition. The smartphone can also support two Sim cards and among other things the phones comes with, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, GPS, MicroUSB, DTA audio processing, and 3.5mm audio jack.

A key thing to notice about the device is the camera bump which resembles to the Note 20, hence the reason why we think the two devices are similar in nature. In terms of camera performance, housed at the back we have a 13 MP primary sensor in a triple sensor camera setup. A pair of QVGA lenses accompany the primary sensor. For those who enjoy a good selfie every now and then, the device packs a lone 8 MP shooter. Infinix Smart 5 comes with a huge 5000 mAh battery which sadly only supports 10W fast charging, but given ye price, even having a fast charging capability should be considered a good feature. According to the company, the device can last for up to 4 days on one full charge, given a set of circumstances that is. The phone is currently available for sale at a $102 price tag.
