This year, the Nokia C31 is launching in more countries than ever before, alongside its sibling Nokia G60 5G and Nokia X30 5G. However, the Nokia C31 is among the most affordable smartphones of 2022 in spite of not having 5G support.
A 6.75-inch IPS LCD with 720p resolution is nestled inside a splash-resistant plastic casing on the Nokia C31. On the back, there is a fingerprint sensor near the main camera, and it has thick bezels around the screen and a U-shaped notch for the selfie camera.
The internals and the software
In spite of its entry-level status, it comes with Unisoc’s SC9863A SoC and up to 128 GB of storage and 4 GB RAM, making it a budget phone. The phone also has cheaper variants with 32 GB or 3 GB RAM. Even though it is a budget phone, it runs Google’s Android 12 OS, which is not even the Go version for entry-level devices.

Cameras
Featuring a 13MP wide-angle primary camera capable of recording 1080p videos at 30 frames per second, the camera system has a 13MP secondary camera. Portrait shots are taken using a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro lens.
5MP is the resolution of the selfie camera.
Pricing and battery life
With a 5,050 mAh battery, Nokia did not hold back on battery capacity for the C31. However, fast charging is not compatible. The Nokia C31 is available in Advanced Gray, Nordic Blue, and Mint Green color options before the end of this year at just $111.
