It’s been ten years since Pakistani racing returned to international events

It will be the first time in nearly a decade that Pakistani will be participating in the final round of the Dubai Endurance Karting Championship 2022. The last time Pakistan participated in the event was in 2013.

There will be seven Pakistani teams competing in this tournament, including Shamiq Saeed (captain), Saad Lari (team manager), Shahzad Qureshi, Samad Soomro, Uzair Magsi, and Enaam Ahmed (racers).

Shamiq Saeed, the team’s captain, commented on how the team was preparing for the meet, saying:

Achieving this level of competition is not an easy task. Although we lack the experience of some of the drivers on our team, there is no shortage of commitment, passion and a passion for competing and going head to head with the world champions. It is our belief that this is a wonderful opportunity to learn and gain experience and then bring this knowledge back to the country as a means to raise the bar at the local level. There are not many chances in life where one can have the opportunity to train against two F1 world champions, and race against them in a race against each other. Hopefully, we will be able to make the country and its people proud of us inshallah.
