Jack Ma announces retirement from Alibaba on his 54th birthday
The CEO of famous china based Alibaba has announced his retirement to serve the humanity. Jack Ma is the Chief Executive and Co-Founder of the World’s fifth largest internet company.
Jack Ma has revealed this news in a recent interview to the New York Times. He also announced his plans for the future. The multi-billionaire expert from China has decided to step down as the Chief Executive of the Alibaba Group Holding Inc. on the occasion of his birthday. After that, he would practice education-based philanthropy full time.
Jack Ma, aged 53 will follow the footpath of the Bill Gates (founder of Microsoft) .According to Jack Ma, he will more concentrate on education and donate more of his time and money to the education-related charity.
Although, he has already declared his plans to invest in education. Since, he had spoken his willingness to contribute more of his time to philanthropy in one of his interviews with Bloomberg a few days ago.

It’s a long term plan as Jack Ma had told that he was already preparing a Jack Ma Foundation for more than 10 years. In the interview with Bloomberg, he said now it’s time to starts implementing it.
It is important to mention here that Jack Ma is the founder of Alibaba, a company which is currently World’s fifth largest internet company. Before becoming the CEO Alibaba, Jack Ma was as an English Teacher and now he is one of China’s richest men. He has struggled 20 years to become what he is today.
Interestingly, valuation of Alibaba stands at US$420.8 billion currently while the net worth of just Jack Ma is $40 billion. Jack Ma, himself is great person with great vision. His vision has achieved the top of business world and now Alibaba got the rank of 5th biggest internet company.
