Pakistan’s lonely elephant Kaavan showed up in Cambodia via payload plane on Monday to begin another life with individual pachyderms at a nearby safe-haven, the summit of long periods of lobbying for his exchange by American singer Cher. 

Cher was on the landing area at the air terminal of Cambodia’s second-greatest city Siem Reap to welcome Kaavan and was captured in shades, dark face veil and white coat meeting the vets who went with the elephant, who made the long excursion in a hand crafted container. 

Creature salvage association Four Paws said Kaavan had an additional hour and a half drive ahead and would almost certainly show up at the asylum after dusk, so he would be delivered in sunlight on Tuesday. 

“Kaavan was eating, was not focused on, he was even somewhat resting, standing inclining at the case divider. He carries on like a long standing customer,” said Amir Khalil, a Four Paws vet. 

“The flight was predictable, which is everything you can request when you move an elephant.”

Cher had composed tunes squeezing for Kaavan’s delivery from terrible, confined conditions at Islamabad Zoo and she had spent the most recent couple of days with him in Pakistan. 

The multi-grant winning singer has been with a film team archiving Kaavan’s story and said she was glad to be important for a work to free an elephant she said had been shackled to a shed for a very long time. 

Many natural life laborers and specialists drove by Four Paws utilized a winch and rope to maneuver the calmed elephant into the container before he was stacked onto the Russian-fabricated load plane. 

Kaavan’s controllers took in excess of 200 kg of food including bananas and melons to keep him occupied on his excursion.
