Kia’s very latest electric car in the EV9 concept car happens to be a rather big one with a range close to that of 500km. The concept vehicle is build on Hyundai’s Electric-Global Modular Platform which is indeed in the process of being primed as the platform of choice as far as an extensive lineup of electric vehicles from the carmaker go.
The E-GMP happens to be a rather scalable electric architecture that goes on to underpin a large list of upcoming EVs that include the likes of Ioniq 5, Kia EV6 and also the Genesis GV60. The EV9, in all its glory, just reflects a rather massive leap from the EV6 and it also seems as if it is there to win over customers from users of Cadillac and Telluride as it offers rather aggressive dimensions and also a very expansive interior.
The EV9 happens to be 194 inches long and 81 inches wide while it is 70 inches in height. Much as the description has it, it is without doubt a rather huge SUV and it also goes on to put other Kia models to shame with its massive rise – all of which refers to the good possibility that it could indeed proceed into production very soon!

The concept car made its debut at the LA Auto Show 2021 and goes on to combine a very beautiful angular design with a great and expansive body.
It is likely to have an 800-volt architecture which will then allow and make way for it to accept DC fast charging speeds up to that of 350 kilowatts. Kia claims that the vehicle’s battery has the potential to charge from 10 to 80 percent in just 30 minutes.
For now, while there are no definitive details as to when the production will commence but it could be within the next year or so.
