Every other smartphone manufacturer is gearing up to take full advantage of the upcoming Mobile World Congress taking place this month, and no different will be the case for Xiaomi – as the company’s Xiaomi Mi 9 has been amongst the most talked about devices in the recent weeks. And with all the rumors and the talk in place, there now seems to be a leaked image of the phone : which goes on to show a triple camera setup.
The image for the upcoming device was gone on to be posted on a Weibo account, and it seems that the handset belongs to Wang Teng Thomas – who happens to be the product manager of the Chinese company. Now though, the photo isn’t there any more, and was actually taken off quite quickly after being posted.
Some reliable sources had reported in previous times that the phone will come with a triple camera setup and with the leaked photo in mind, the triple rear camera setup is quite visible in that context as well. Moreover, the phone will also be making use of Sony’s IMX586 sensor, and along with that, the phone will consist of a secondary 18MP sensor, along with an 8MP tertiary sensor.
The highly anticipated upcoming phone will sport a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, coming with a 19:9 ratio, along with 2k screen resolution and a Waterdrop notched display. The phone will also feature a 24MP selfie snapper, with the Sony IMX576 sensor.
The phone will indeed be coming with a fingerprint scanner placed right under the display, and will be running Android 9 Pie with MIUI 10 on top – straight out of the box. To keep the lights running, there will be a 3500mAh battery, along with the 32W fast charging capabilities.
