Lenovo made a mark on the smartphone market after the company launched the Lenovo S5 smartphone, and this launch took place all the way back in March. Now, the company is looking to build upon the momentum it had gained with the launch of the S5, as it gears up to launch the Lenovo S5 Pro next week. Invites have been sent out by the company, and these have gone on to reveal the launch date of Lenovo’s latest and upcoming device. This launch date is set to be the 18th of October, and this will be the day that the phone sees the light of day, in China.

Most recently, Lenovo also published an invite poster, and this poster was based on for Weibo. The poster went on to confirm the arrival of the phone in China, on the 18th. In addition to reveal, the poster also went on to reveal some other stuff – well, not so much a reveal, but to give us a glimpse of what’s next –a glimpse of the smartphone with two of its front cameras.

Not so long ago, just a few days in fact, the Lenovo S5 Pro TENAA listings showed up. They revealed some stuff with regards to the phone, and according to them, a lot was actually revealed. Accordingly enough, the phone will sport a 6.18 inch display, and the phone will have dimensions of 154.5×75.45×7.7mm. The listing further went on go reveal that the phone will come with a massive 3500mAh battery, which shouldhave proceedings running very smoothly indeed.

In addition to this, the listing also went on to reveal that the phone will come with dual front and rear cameras. Also, the handset is set to come with 3 GB of RAM + 32 gigs of internal storage, or with regards to the other variant – 4 GB of RAM, and 64 GB of internal storage. The most premium variant of the phone comes with 6 GB of RAM, and internal storage of 128 GB. The phone will have the option of expandable storage via the microSD card. Moreover, the phone will be running Android 8.1 Oreo straight out of the box – and it won’t be long before the phone gets the Pie update, so don’t put your money against that not happening.

I stated that the phone will become available in China on the 18th of October, and that’s just the way it is, for now. With concerns to the global availability of the phone, not much has been revealed, and same is the case with regards to the price tag that the phone is set to come with. However, since the launch is so near, we won’t be in the dark for too long.
