The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT, Lenovo’s newest phone, and the first ever phone to feature with the Snapdragon 855 chipset went on sale for the first time today at 10AM local China time. The smartphone had been made available for purchase via the Jing dong Mall, and a screenshot by Mu Drivers has been shared, which goes on to reveal that the phone was sold out in less than in a minute in its first ever sale. Furthermore, the Chinese brand has also gone on to release an official poster which states exactly the same – the X50 Pro GT selling out in just 32 seconds.

The publication has also gone through to claim that the popularity of the phone is such that it has received 220,000 reservations before it even went on sale at 10AM (local time). So while the sale numbers achieved in less than a minute for the phone are quite astonishing, it shouldn’t have come as much of a surprise in the first place. While the phone also features a variant that comes with 12 gigs of RAM, right now, the company is selling only three variants –6/128, 8/128, and finally, 8/256. These models go for the price of $400, $445, while the most premium amongst these three, coming in with 8 gigs of RAM and 256 gigs of internal storage, brings along a price tag of $504 along with it.

The smartphone had also been made available for purchase through Lenovo China’s online store and lynx. Customers that had placed an order will be receiving their shipments from the 1st of February.

The Z5 Pro GT comes with a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED display, along with an In-display fingerprint scanner. The slide of the phone features a dual camera setup consisting of 16MP + 8MP. The back panel of the phone comes with another dual camera setup – that of 24MP + 16MP. The phone is powered by a 3500mAh battery, and comes loaded with ZUI 10, which happens to be based on the Android 9 Pie OS. There is only one color that the smartphone will be available in – black. As of now, the phone is available only in China, with no word on the global availability of the device just yet.
