LG Q6 launched in India - the first under the Q-series

LG electronics has brought us, even more, to choose from with the launch of its latest smartphone – the LG Q6. The smartphone will be the start of something new, as it will be the first phone to star under the name of the Q-series. The main purpose that the Q-series will serve is to provide affordable options to the buyers, while not compromising on the quality and specifications to a huge extent. Much similar to the J-series that Samsung has come up with, to primarily serve the same purpose of providing affordable options.
The Q6 also has the distinct feature of the first smartphone in the mid-range category to introduce us to the 18:9 wide display with Full Vision. The 5.5-inch FHD+ display with a bezel-less form factor that will just make you melt will not only serve to provide us with extremely impressive gaming experience but also terrific video streaming experience.

Amit Gujral, who is the Cheif Marketing Officer of LG Electronics India commented :

“LG Q6 is a perfect example of Usability and Aesthetics. It offers Full Vision Display (18:9) which happens to be first in Industry at the price point it offers. With the introduction of this new range, we have ensured that consumers are able to enjoy the best of technology from the house of LG at price points that are well-suited to all of them. The bold, innovative features of the phone will provide an unmatched smartphone experience to them. Now every user will have a personalized product experience with the new Q6 range.”
Quite similar to LG’s flagship phone the LG G6, the metal frame that surrounds the LG Q6 is made of ultra-strong 7000 series aluminum, which also just happens to be one of the highest strength aluminum alloys which are currently available. The LG Q6 also sports the company’s proprietary Face Recognition feature allowing users to unlock the Q6 quite easily and simply.
Let’s take some time to talk about the specs that the phone will bring along with it. The phone will have Android Nougat 7.1.1 straight out of the box, as mentioned previously will have a 5.5-inch 18:9 FHD+ FullVision Display (2160 x 1080), will come with a Snapdragon 435 processor, while the RAM which the phone will possess is going to be that of 3GB. External storage will amount to 32GB, while the cameras also seem to be rather impressive when taking into consideration the price, with the rear being that of 13MP, and the front camera a 5MP one. Coming with a battery of 3000 mAh, paying around $235 should not be that big a problem for anyone looking for a budget phone!
