Students of the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) have taken steps to keep challenging the college company until it permits 100% of the selected students to go to nearby classes from one week from now. 

As indicated by subtleties, the LUMS company, a week ago, reported to resume the grounds from 1 February while following exacting government provided COVID-19 SOPs, for example, permitting close to 30% of selected students to remain nearby. 

The company has focused on obliging students on the grounds who have a place with low-pay families, or those having absence of web availability and appropriate gadgets for online schooling.

In an authority articulation, LUMS said “the college’s company is in constant contact with students confronting exceptional challenges and is focused on offering the fundamental help required.” 

It added that “given the seriousness of the subsequent wave and the new strains of the COVID-19 infection, LUMS will keep having its influence through proceeded with cautiousness in facing this pandemic, and in after the public authority’s orders.”
