Mi 13 series and MIUI 14 were set to launch today (Dec 1), making up for a major product launch. There are two new smartphone models from Vivo that will be unveiled on Friday this week (Dec 2), the iQOO 11 series and the iQOO Neo7 SE, the latter sporting MediaTek’s Dimensity 8200 chipset.
The launch of all of these high-profile products was postponed at the last minute as a result of the death of Jiang Zemin, the former General Secretary of the Communist Party of China, who died on the last day of his life. Thus, Xiaomi, Huawei, iQOO, and MediaTek have all confirmed on Weibo that their upcoming product launches have been postponed due to this issue.
There are no announcements of a revised launch date from any of these Chinese companies, so we are no longer able to estimate when these new phones will make their debut. However, I think it will not be long before these products are ready to go out the door at the end of this month, since all of them are ready to go. In the course of the month of December, we suspect that all of them will be able to break cover.
Xiaomi 13 Pro

With an E6 AMOLED panel with a variable 120Hz refresh rate, a 2K resolution, and a 1920Hz PWM dimming speed, the device is expected to come with a 6.73-inch display. Despite the fact that the peak brightness of the display will be as high as 1,900 nits, it will be almost as bright as the latest iPhones (2000 nits).
