A very recent research report coming in from Stretegy Analytics has predicted that the next year of 2020 will see a large number of 5G enabled phones making their way into the market. Also, the report has suggested that over the course of the next six years – by 2025, sales of 5G enabled smartphones could be in excess of one billion units globally. It would make sense too that we may see such sale numbers – as more and more affordable 5G enabled devices will soon launch. This will only drive up the demand for the devices.

As of now though, there is little doubting the fact that the whole of the tech industry in moving towards 5G : another reason why it’s likely that cheaper 5G devices are not too far away. Currently, 5G enabled devices only account for one percent of the whole market – however, the firm has noted that by next year, this number will be driven up to ten percent as we will see more and more consumers make their move to 5G enabled devices.
