Nokia at this moment in time is rolling out a new software update for the Nokia 9 Pureview, with this bringing several new updates. The Pie based build v4. 22c also happens to be bringing along with itself the security patch for April. With regards to the official changelog, the main aim for the update is to improve system stability, bringing along UI improvements, and finally, enhancing security.

The update will set you back 250.4MB in size. Users have also recently reported some additional optimizations which have resulted in the improvements in the camera app speed. The In-display fingerprint scanner that the phone holds within its screen has not only gotten faster, but also more responsive after the update. The face unlock is now also optimized and this means that the device now unlocks much faster. Other changes include the likes of better skin tones, accurate screen colors, improvements in the image processing department while users snap photos with the aid of the native camera app.

The update is indeed rolling out globally right now, and if you want to update your device, make sure your device is at least 60 percent charged and that it is connected to Wi-Fi.

After being made official in China not so long ago, it won’t take long before the Nokia 9 Pureview also happens to make its way into the Indian market. You’ve probably heard about the phone since it features with a penta rear camera module which features with all 12MP f/1.8 Zeiss optics sensors. What the five sensors do is that they snap photos from all the five cameras and later go on to output a single detail-rich image. The multiple cameras also go on to help the device to capture more light which leads to better night photography.
