The Nokia 8 proved to be a great debut flagship smartphone for HMD global, as the phone offered an extremely powerful and fast chipset, a very slick design, and a rather lightweight trend on Android all together. However, with all its qualities, one flaw to which many seemed to complain on – and still do is the camera. But it seems the manufacturer is working hard on an update which might change things to a great extent.
According to new reports emerging, it seems that there will be huge camera-related improvement coming to the Nokia 8, as part of the Android Pie update. The camera was probably the worst part of the phone, so it’s great and encouraging to see such updates going forward. And the Nokia 8 won’t actually be the first 2017 flagship phone which badly needs to a camera focused update, as the essential delivered a series of related update for the improvement of the camera on their Essential phone.

Such a news also comes part of other reports which state that Nokia’s latest and upcoming flagship phone is set to have five rear cameras. Having this in mind, and also the update that will undoubtedly be great for the camera, it is actually pretty good to see that Nokia is focusing greatly on the camera. Other compartments of the Nokia 8 can no doubt be improved, however, you can say that for every phone, can’t you? The Nokia 8 delivers exactly what it expected of a flagship phone, so there is much worries there. The camera was a problem like I mentioned, but with that improving, and also with Nokia looking to have five rear cameras on its upcoming flagship phone, expect the company to excel in the camera department and go further than anyone has ever before!
For now, it isn’t actually clear as to exactly when the Nokia 8 will be receiving the pie update, with some reports suggesting that people will have to wait till November or December, while others suggest that it might take till 2019 till the phone finally gets the much needed update. While it isn’t clear when the update will come, you won’t have to wait too long, and once it’s done and dusted, be sure of the fact that you’ll be taking great photos from your one lacking Nokia 8.
