After months of relentless leaks, weeks and weeks of speculation surrounding the phones, tomorrow is finally the day when Google officially unveils its latest flagship smartphones – the Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL.

While the phones haven’t been launched just yet, we know pretty much everything there is to know about both these phones, because the relentless amount of leaks and months of speculation has led to the element of surprise to pretty much disappear. So while we already know everything, there is one thing which has made many a people greatly uncomfortable with regards to the phones, and in particular, this happens to be the notch which happens to be present on the Pixel 3 XL.

While notches have without doubt become common, they don’t exactly have a lot of admirers, and to make things even worse for Google, the notch present on the Pixel 3 XL is definitely amongst the biggest we’ve ever seen, if not indeed the biggest. There has been a great amount of ridicule and mocking going on with regards to the notches present on the Pixel 3 XL, so the question then arises – is it really going to be a big deal for the potential customer, when the time finally arrives to purchase the phone? Well, the comments and thought of many seems to suggest so.

Amongst the ridicule surrounding the phone also comes the complaints that the phone will not have the presence of a headphone jack, or indeed the option for microSD. While the hatred for notch is especially emphasized, these are also amongst the points which may make the potential customer think twice, before they make the decision to spend such a significant amount of money.

While many object the exclusion of the headphone jack and the microSD option, others have shown the plain out hatred they have for the notch. Many have gone on to sarcastically mock Google by stating that it’s actually impressive how Google managed to put the largest, most intrusive notch there is. Others have gone on to state that they would rather have a top bezel go all the way across, rather than the ugly notch with which they would have to become accustomed to, when using the phone.

So to summarize everything, basically, the notch without doubt is a problem, and a massive headache for Google, as well as the potential customer. Will it stop you to buy the phone? Let us know in the comments.
