We don’t have to wait too long a time before the launch event of the Honor Magic 2 takes place. The first concept Honor Magic phone was unveiled 2 years ago, back in 2016. There is no secret in the fact that Honor is working to its full extent in order to expand the magic series – with the best proof of this being the launch of the Honor Magic 2 – the launch date of which is set to be on the 31st of October. Now that the launch date is set, we can only hope that the massive amounts of rumors are put to bed with this. Now that we are getting so close to the release of the phone, the Honor Magic 2 official photos have been unveiled, and these photos show the slide-out camera, together with the gradient colored backs.

The upcoming smartphone is set to be an all-screen phone, with a very unique, and distinctive bezel-less design, however, to say that this particular phone is the first all screen phone ever, is wrong. Hence, it is expected that Honor will go on to add more features to the phone in order to make things more interesting.

The phone will actually be quite similar to the Huawei P20 Pro. There will come a vertical camera setup on the rear end of the phone, and all-together, the phone will come with three cameras. However, with this in mind, it looks as if Honor has made a reduction between the sensors. In addition to this all, the phone will be powered by Huawei’s 7nm Kirin 980 processer. The phone will also sport the greatly-enhanced AI chops, coming along with Huawei’s new NPU (neutral processing unit) co-processor.

While I’ve stated what we can expect of the phone, there aren’t any words about what the phone will cost. The phone is set to see the light of day in Beijing, China, and the date reserved for this is the 31st of October. Now that the launch date isn’t too far away anyways, we’ll get to know exactly what the phone is about!
