As per the CEO of OnePlus, Pete Lau, it took the company more than four months before they achieved a breakthrough in greeting their desired finishing look for the device. The new glossy glass back is believed to “take advantage of diffuse reflection, a form of light refraction that scatters light in an expansive array of angles and directions, to produce a clean, gleaming surface that effectively mitigates the buildup of fingerprints”, says the CEO.

The post says getting the right film to use also took testing several hundreds of film before getting the right type which has 7 layers and brings out the unique shade of green and blue. OnePlus says the film is one of the most advanced in the industry. The image released by the company shows that the new OnePlus 8T comes packed with a quad camera setup which are housed in a rectangle setup with rounded corners. Among the four cameras, three are seen to be on the left side, while the fourth and final is on the right along with two sets of LED flash with two different tones, a rather innovative addition to the device as well.
