The month before, OPPO released the Enco Buds 2 TWS as an alternative to earlier Enco Buds (review).OPPO provided me with an OPPO set of Enco Buds to review earlier this month. The Enco Buds come with a brand new design and upgraded audio drivers and a longer battery life.

The initial price was around Rs. 1,799 ($22). In the moment the warranty is one year old. Two weeks later, I’m looking at Enco Buds 2. Enco Buds 2.

Design and Comfort

The first Enco Buds were pebbles and stemless. Only white. Enco Buds 2 has a modern design that features 5x12cm Spherical hard plastic housing.

It weighs 38 grams and is available only with black color in India. The product is available in white across various markets. The Enco Buds 2 offer a dual-tone, fingerprint-resistant matte finish. Black outside, blue inside.

matte casing and an attractive band. The band features a USB-C port as well as the LED indicators. Enco Buds 2 have no physical button for connecting to the Bluetooth device.

The stems of the earphones are made of plastic. Its 3.5cm stem weighs 4 grams. The earphones that shine feature “R” as well as “F” markings. The tips of the earphones are equipped with sensors that can be touched, as shown below.

I’ve not tried stemless earphones however I prefer the stemmed ones as they have more grip.

The first The Enco Buds are IP5X dust – and water-resistant however, the latest version is IPX4 and protects against moderate sweat and rain. The charging case isn’t IP-rated.

The battery and the charging

The OPPO Enco Buds 2 charging case comes with a battery life of 28 hours. The company claims that the earphones last up to 7 hours when fully charged.

The case has the 460mAh battery, and the earbuds have an mAh battery of 40mAh. I recharged both the Enco Buds twice prior to making this review.

The charging case added 20% of its battery within 14 minutes. According to the company 10 minutes of charging gives you an hour of playing back. The full charge takes 200 minutes (earbuds plus case).

Verdict

The remarkable audio quality helps build trust in the other audio products from OPPO. It’s recommended for people looking for TWS earphones priced between Rs 1500 and the price of Rs 2,000.

The Enco Buds 2 has 4.3 stars on Flipkart this is a good rating. People love the bass and the battery life.
