Just a few days ago, TENAA presented the certification for three new OPPO phones. These went on to reveal three model numbers, and amongst them, the PBCM30 model numbers belonged to the newly unveiled OPPO K1. However, not much was revealed about the other two models, though, recently, through Chinese website listings, we came to know that the PBCM10 model number, which was amongst the three model numbers I just stated, is that of the OPPO R15x. In addition to this, we have also come to know about the leaked specs, and also the price of the OPPO R15X, and this comes as a result of the website listings.
The handset is set to come with a 6.4 inch screen, having a water drop-styled notch integrated in it. The resolution is set to be at 1080 x 2280. In addition to all this, the phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 660 chipset. Furthermore, the phone will come with two variants – one having 4 GB of RAM, while the other will come with 6 GB of RAM. While there will be a difference in RAM between the two variants, both will come with 128 GB of internal storage. The smartphone will come with a massive 3500mAh battery, and will come with Android 8.1 Oreo straight out of the box. And also not to mention, the phone will have the option for expandable storage, via the micro SD card slot.
The phone will feature a 25 megapixel selfie shooter. On the rear side of things. The phone will be equipped with a 16 megapixel + 2 megapixel dual cameras. Furthermore, the phone will also have a fingerprint scanner embedded right under its display. The phone will be available for CNY 2499, and this will bring you home the 4GB/128GB variant. The more premium variant, the one with 6GB/128GB is likely to set you back CNY 2599.
While I’ve stated the most likely cases for the phone, remember that whatever that I’ve stated is based solely on rumors, because nothing at all is official, neither the pricing, nor the specs. However, official word on proceedings should be there by OPPO in a short period of time.
