Earlier this year, Oppo unveiled in India a limited edition set of the Oppo Reno 8 Pro, dubbed the House of the Dragon Limited Edition Set. In about two months, the company has finally revealed that this special version of the handset will now be available to the general public.
There will be a pre-order period for the device starting this week, and it will go on sale the following week. Here are the details that were shared by the brand about the product.
OPPO has confirmed that the Oppo Reno 8 Pro House of the Dragon Limited Edition Set will only be available in India. It is important to note that this particular version of the smartphone will not be available in other regions of the world. It is therefore the only way for the majority of people to get their hands on this product is to import it from overseas.
Regarding the price, the official price of the special edition set is listed at 45,999 U.S. dollars. There is no difference in price between this handset and its regular version. The product will be sold through Flipkart.

There will be the possibility to pre-order the device from December 8 onwards. Starting on December 13, you will be able to purchase it from the store.
As far as we are concerned, it is unclear why Oppo chose to launch the Reno 8 Pro in India with a House of the Daragon theme. It is more popular in western markets where the TV show is shown.
A number of limited-edition smartphones have been released by Oppo together with Disney in the past. The fact that the company is collaborating with Warner Bros. is a good thing, therefore. It would be nice to see HBO, which is owned by Discovery, for once. Nevertheless, it does not seem that this product would be a good fit for the market that it is aimed at.
