So according to a report that was made stated that the rapidly growing Chinese company OPPO may well launch around 5 to 6 smartphones by October. With that in regard it has been confirmed by OPPO that the company will be holding an unveiling event in India on Aug 29 in order for them to announce the next generation OPPO Reno 2 series. It is widely runoured that in addition to the OPPO Reno 2 smartphone,this series will also include phones such as the Reno 2Z and Reno 2F. Furthermore,a new leak by “My Smart Price” has revealed that the Chinese manufacturer will be also unveiling the OPPO Reno A series very soon as well. It is believed that this new series will in turn replace the company’s A-series of smartphones.Now a leaked render of the upcoming OPPO Reno A phone has appeared online which also gives us some information on the device’s specifications.

According to the leak the phone shown in the render below is the OPPO Reno A and at first glance we couldsee that the appearance of the phoneis quite similar to that of the OPPO A5s and OPPO A9 phones which launched this year. In terms of dimensions,the phone has been measured at 158.4 x 75.4 x 7.8mm and weighs around 165 grams. The back of the phone has a very glossy look and on the back users will find a dual camera setup. A fingerprint scanner has not however been attached at the back.

In term of the display of the OPPO Reno A has a waterdrop-style notch. As mentioned before the phone does not have a rear-facing fingerprint sensor which hints that the devicemay feature an AMOLED display and the biometric recognition sensor could be embedded inside of it which will be a very cool feature. The leak also mentions that the new device will be featuring a Snapdragon 710 chipset. It’s composite device, the Reno2F phone is also expected to pack along the same chipset.

Moreover,the new OPPO Reno A is packed with a large 6.5-inch IPS LCD display along with a dewdrop notch which offers users full HD+ resolution. The handset has a 3,600mAh battery capacity which should get you through there. There is still no news on whether the device will carry support for fast charging. The phone is set to arrive in 64 GB and 128 GB storage options both models are expected to come in 6GB RAM variants.

Moving on to the camera side of the device,the dual camera setup at the back of the device includes a primary lens of 16-megapixel with f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For shooting selfies, the handset is expected to pack a very good sensor measured at 25 megapixels.
