Pakistan and Bangladesh began their Tri-Series tournament with a win in New Zealand, with the Men in Green comfortably winning 21 runs, at Hagley Oval, Christchurch.
In the wake of the win The Babar Azam-led squad is now the highest ranked team in the table of points and will play host in the second match in the competition on October 8, at the same venue.
The Men in Green bounced back after dropping the previous two T20I match in the seven-match T20 game against England and England, resulting in the series win 4-3 the previous week.
