PM Khan has announced that Pakistan along with Turkey and Malaysia would be starting an English Langauge channel which will be dedicated to clarifying the Islamic values of life and how the real Islam differs from the Islam that many terrorist organisations claim to promote. Islamophobia has become a real thing and in order to rid the world of this, the channel would be focusing on how many Islamic teachings have been misinterpreted causing people to believe that the religion that extremists follow is the right one.

In fact, when one ponders over the teachings of Islam, it is an extremely peaceful religion without the aggressiveness and all the wrongdoings that are being going on the world, and Islam being made the reason for everything. PM Khan tweeted regarding the matter as well

Misperceptions which bring people together against Muslims would be corrected; issue of blasphemy would be properly contextualized; series & films would be produced on Muslim history to educate/inform our own people & the world; Muslims would be given a dedicated media presence

President Erdogan, PM Mahatir and myself had a meeting today in which we decided our 3 countries would jointly start an English language channel dedicated to confronting the challenges posed by Islamophobia and setting the record straight on our great religion – Islam.

The issue is a serious one and needs special importance from Muslim world leaders so that Islam, as a religion can be clarified to the people and all the misunderstandings can be erased regarding the religion.

Turkish President Erdogan also stressed on the matter of how Muslims have become the scapegoats of all terrorism occurring throughout the world and are subject to hate speech the most. This channel will enable the world to see the right and only side of Islam that exists, any other religious preachings that the terrorists promote is fake and made up.
