An organization dedicated to protecting democracy worldwide, Doublethink Lab, has released the China Index 2022, which ranks countries according to bilateral cooperation with China.

China Index 2022 ranks Pakistan first. Second and third are Cambodia and Singapore. China has the strongest ties with these 10 countries.

This year’s China Index 2022 includes 82 countries from around the world. A total of nine domains have been assessed in order to determine countries’ ties with China in the index. The areas to be covered are; Academia, Domestic Politics, Economy, Foreign Policy, Law Enforcement, the Media, Military, Society, and Technology. Each domain further comprises 11 indicators.
