And now, different variants of the Oppo Reno have actually leaked.
Oppo Mobile Telecommunications submitted the trademark applications to both the EUIPO, and IPO. The trademarks, being classified as Class 9, includes five names : the Reno Pro, Reno Plus, Reno Zoom, Reno Lite and finally, the Reno Youth.
The Oppo Reno will be powered by the Snapdragon 855 processor, and right now, it isn’t actually any informationpresent on whether the same chipset will be powering all the models for this upcoming series. There also comes the possibility that the device could come with the support for 5G connectivity.
On the other hand, we have the Reno Plus. The phone might come with a larger screen, extra memory and also a larger sized battery when compared with the non-plus model. There already has been an announcement with regards to the Reno smartphone’s battery – a 4800mAh battery.
The Reno Zoom will probably be based around Oppo’s phone’s zoom function for the camera configuration. There was an earlier announcement by the Chinese manufacturer glorifying its 10x optical zoom technology, and there is all the possibility in the world that the particular device could feature with the same technology, with the inclusion of a 48MP main camera sensor, and a secondary wide-angle camera and an 8MP zoom sensor.
In terms of the software aspect, all five of the smartphones will be running the latest of Google’s software – the Android 9 Pie, that too right out of the box. The Android 9 will be integrated alongside Oppo’s very own ColorOS 6, which too was recently announced by Oppo. It also seems now that Breeno – which happens to be an AI-based voice assistant from OPPO will indeed be available on these Reno series of smartphones.
