A recent report has stated that the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Information Technology and Telecommunication has claimed PTCL to again start selling up in the open market, and has been allotted with a specific time limit to do so.

The committee said that they are forced to allotted a time spancause they don’t sight any other way to get the money from. The Chairmanship of Capt. (Retd) Muhammad Safdar also showed feelings of vex and pique for the delay of about $800 million from Etisalat . it has been 10 years for this act.

This is why the committee is now forced this time limit and by hook or crook desires to get the money back.

This issue was also bought to light of, Omer Ayub Khan, ex-MNA.

Anusha Rehman, State Minister for Information Technology, told the committee about the back past issues of TIP too.

After the detailed conversation the ministry was directed to take up strict and serious action on this up till 30th August, 2016 .

But still the issue ofRs 274 million by TIP continues to remain directed towards Technological Service Corporation (TSC) & National Radio Telecommunication Corporation (NRTC).

The Ministry firstly aimed to get PTCL, TIP and NRTC take up the finances of the schools, colleges and hospitals but the action was delayed.
